3 ingredient cheese shortbreads

These savoury bites are delicious! The perfect little nibble to accompany a cup of tea (or a glass of wine).

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan) and line your baking tray with parchment.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, crumble the grated cheese with your fingers to make it as fine as possible. Remove 25g and set to one side.

Step 3

Add the flour, followed by the butter into the remaining cheese, then bring it together with your fingers until a dough is formed.

Step 4

Tip the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to a thickness of about 5mm, then cut out rounds using the cutter or alternative.

Step 5

Place onto the baking tray, then sprinkle each biscuit using the remaining 25g of crumbled cheese.

Step 6

Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden, then allow to cool before serving.
